All the attaching screws of the surrounding windshield trim need to be loosened so that the job doesn&#8217;t get held up because the tech has broken off a screw or can&#8217;t get it out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG_1107.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG_1107.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2942\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG_1107.jpg 640w, https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG_1107-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Some screws had to have a slot cut into them with a dremel tool with a small cutoff wheel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG_1108.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG_1108.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2943\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG_1108.jpg 640w, https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG_1108-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>That worked in one case, but the other thee stuck screws had to be coaxed to turn with a fine chisel and hammer and then removed with a small vice grip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG_1109.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG_1109.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2944\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG_1109.jpg 640w, https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG_1109-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Got all eight out and then replaced the trim with new screws.
