I removed the flasher and the anti-theft relay under the console. With them removed the problem was bypassed and the courtesy lights worked without burning out the fuse. Still don&#8217;t know where the shorting problem lies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_1164.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_1164.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2997\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_1164.jpg 640w, https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_1164-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I used shrink-wrap to isolate all the anti-theft relay leads. I tested the led bulbs and they do dim with a reduction in voltage. A bit tricky putting them in the dash since they only work one way being diodes. I had to run 12 volts through each bulb&#8217;s circuit to be sure they lit properly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_1177.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_1177.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3004\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_1177.jpg 640w, https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_1177-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The new tach circuit board comes with three insulating washers, but no instructions on where to use them.
