Even copper\\nickle is hard to bend using a pipe bender when the curves get too tight.  I tried making the curve longer which worked pretty good until I tried to make the second curve upward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG_1683.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG_1683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3420\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG_1683.jpg 640w, https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG_1683-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The old fuel pump has a flared fitting built into the pump.  Not so with the new replacement. It is built with a pipe thread fitting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG_1685.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG_1685.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3424\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG_1685.jpg 640w, https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG_1685-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve put together some fittings that will eliminate the need for a sharp curve around the fuel pump before it heads upwards toward the carb.  Now I have a pretty straight run upwards. It&#8217;s a tight fit, but just enough room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG_1684.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG_1684.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3423\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG_1684.jpg 640w, https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG_1684-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I straightened the old line I messed up and used it to get the general shape needed for the new line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG_1686.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG_1686.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3425\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG_1686.jpg 640w, https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG_1686-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I borrowed a better pipe bender from a buddy and was able to form a new line. Not a job I like doing.
