I then applied a fibreglass patch with two coats of fibreglass resin.  I will cover them with black automotive coating later.  On the outside I&#8217;ll fill the holes with two part body filler with short tiger hair.  I&#8217;ll then skim that with regular body filler for the final treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/IMG_1940.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/IMG_1940.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3737\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/IMG_1940.jpg 640w, https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/IMG_1940-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There was no way I could get the attaching clips fitted into the new cat wiskers for the outside of the door. I then drilled the cat wisker in the proper locations and attached each clip. Worked a charm \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/IMG_1942.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/IMG_1942.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3738\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/IMG_1942.jpg 640w, https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/IMG_1942-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Next I removed the old door seal. I wanted to remove all the old glue so that the new adhesive would have bare paint to stick to. The best solution after trying some other stuff was plain house paint thinner and small chunks of course scrubbing pads.
