I have sanded it down and then coated the bare metal with Rust Converter to be sure any rust left over is turned to primer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/IMG_1979.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/IMG_1979.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3776\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/IMG_1979.jpg 640w, https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/IMG_1979-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I opted for this setup rather then using the grinder and a flapper wheel. A lot less noise and flying dust this way.
