Couldn&#8217;t find anything wrong with the flexplate, but happened to notice a slight misalignment between the inner and outer rings on the dampener. The outer ring appeared to have moved <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>forward on one side.\u00a0 So I checked on line and found that the sort of misalignment is OK if it is .010 or less. We&#8217;ll how that goes. Had to get at the bolts by feel. Not too hard and there are only three of them. It needs a 1-1\\16&#8243; very deep socket to use a ratchet. Not being a professional I don&#8217;t have e such a socket. I had to use a long wrench that I could only move about 1\/3 of a turn each time. Took a bit but the dampener finally seated itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/IMG_4529.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/IMG_4529.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6191\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/IMG_4529.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/IMG_4529-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/kgworks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/IMG_4529-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It was a bit of fun getting the pulley bolts on , but at least I was able to torque them and the engine didn&#8217;t rotate. Not so with the crank bolt so I snugged it up and then used a couple of short bursts with the impact wrench to set it firmly in place.
